St. Paul's Sunday School children followed up on the sharing and reading of "The Peace Book" by Todd Parr, to discuss what peace means to each of them. Nancy Guild asked the children what they discussed within their families about peace. The kids shared together that it meant getting along with others, sharing, working together, being pen pals, praying for others and being fair when playing sports. Very inspiring.
Next each of them painted, colored and collaged a piece of art. In March the children at the Urukundo Children's Home will work on the same project, creating art describing their thoughts about peace. All these works of art will be used for a St. Paul's art show in the spring. Sharing peace among children from such different worlds is about bridges of friendship!!!
