Art Quilt 1

Each year I bring projects from elementary schools, Sunday schools and other students. This project was a collaboration with a 3rd grade class at Houserville Elementary School using the art of Faith Ringgold to make a quilt with a particular theme. They decided to create a patriotic quilt to show about their country, the USA!

In Rwanda they decided on Social Cohesion as they were studying it in social studies. It is about "a community that works together for the well-being of all members."

Tharcille and I worked on this and what an amazing learning tool it will be to share with students in the US.
