The last of the pieces students created were using art by Amedeo Modigliani, Georgia O'Keefe and John Biggers. Each artist was chosen as they have such unique styles using different mediums.
Modigliani used oils to paint people and faces. Georgia O'Keefe also used oil to paint simple shapes of nature. John Biggers actually attended Penn State from 1946-1954 to study art education. He was an African-American muralist that used paint as well as pen and ink.
Thank you to all the art students that provided pieces of art for the art classes in Rwanda.
