Two months ago I wrote a story about one of Mama Arlene's preschoolers, Deogratios. He was burned by scalding water when a pot fell over. When the family came to Arlene she realized she did not have enough medical supplies to help until he could go to the hospital.
I asked Carol Baney, an EMT that was on the team to see if she could find out what was needed. Better yet she contacted her friend Scott Rawson, Executive Director of Centre LifeLink in State College and he said they would donate the much needed supplies.
Thank you Scott and Centre LifeLink for making a difference and providing what was needed. Carol passed on the medical gifts to Delphine and secondary student Diescor who help in the clinic at The Urukundo Children's Home.
