Dentist in Classroom

What makes our dental initiative have the potential for being so effective is the vision of Dr. Eulade and Mama Arlene. First all the children at our schools have been screened at our dental center, then our dentist visited all the classrooms to discuss dental hygiene, then the families sign up for follow up dental treatment for their children.

The screenings were done and the next step was to visit 7 classrooms of preschoolers and Grades 1&2. He asked children how they brush their teeth, then demonstrated.

Toothbrushes and toothpaste donated by several dentists in State College were given out to each child. There were many happy smiles when they got their new toothbrushes.

*Brush your tongue too???

*Happy smiles.

  1. That is very inspiring. Oral health is very important for kids worldwide. It’s something that most kids around the world take for granted, which results in a lot of discomfort among them. I admire you guys who take the time of the day to do a noble thing like that. :)

  2. This visit is very helpful! Not only did children become aware on the proper way on how to brush their teeth; but it was also a way for them to know that dentists are friendly too. Hopefully, these sessions helped them realize that dentists aren't scary people at all! Cheers!
