Amy thought about planning an event to have kids work on a project for Rwanda. I had just the thing. So the idea for Creative Kids Helping Kids was born. And the first event was held Feb. 22nd at The Studio at Contempo. 40 children and parents attended!!! Tables were filled as everyone got into the fun. There were even fish-themed cookies made by Grace Cousins. Soon beautiful fish of many colors were being created.
Parents teaching kids about helping others is a special moment!!! I can't wait to see the faces of the children in Rwanda when THEY see what was made for them.
