It started with a question, "Why no goats?"

It started with a question and things were set in motion. It’s amazing how God works through people!
My former boss and his wife, Mike Negra and Wanda White knew I was going to Rwanda on a mission trip and wanted to support me. They said, “The home raises chickens, cows, sheep, rabbits and even a pig. Why are there no goats?”

You see, Mike, co-owner and consultant for Negra-Graham Theatrical Advisors and Wanda, “goat shepherdest”, farmer and involved with PA Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), own South View Farm in Centre Hall. For the past 3 years they have been raising about 50 goats, African Boer Goats.

They started raising goats to help out their neighbor who was raising goats and needed a pasture. Wanda says “I fell in love with these little guys. They love to get into mischief and if they run loose they just might just get on top of your car or their shed. If you’re ever feeling down, go out and spend time with them. You’ll laugh at their antics.”
