Birds 2

Two nights ago Marilyn and I led devotions using the birds of Bethlehem that the kids at the St. Paul's Preschool made. Our devotion was called Good News! using Romans 10:15 "How beautiful are the feet of those who share the good news!" I used this verse 3 years ago at St. Paul's when collecting shoes for Rwanda.

We talked about good news and asked how they share it with others. They said "sharing books, stories, helping each other and with love". I said we were going to share the good news at devotions about a special baby, Jesus and how he came to be with us, love us and be the good news. To shower His grace on us, set our path before us, and sharing His ultimate gift giving His life for us.

Since it is too dark to take photos at devotions here are some of the children with the birds they made. These will be given as a gift to St. Paul's Preschool.
